The Gospel of Judas does not affect the Muslims
The Gospel of Judas will not affect the Muslim tradition and the veneration of the Prophet Isa in Islam.
This was reported by the head of the science department of the Council of muftis of Russia Farid Asadullin. Thus, he commented on the publication of the Coptic manuscripts in Washington. According to the Mufti, the Gospel for every Muslim, just cognitive literature.
Recall, the manuscript describes the earthly life of Jesus Christ of Judas. The manuscript, numbering 66 pages on papyrus and dating from the III-IV centuries AD, in addition to the 26-page "Gospel of Judas" includes a text entitled "James", known as "The Apocalypse of James," the letter of the Apostle Peter the Apostle Philip and a fragment of the fourth text which scientists tentatively named "book of aliens."
The manuscript was found in the 70 years of the twentieth century in Egypt and several collectors bathe too long. After the completion of ongoing investigations now involving a National Geographic Society, the old document will be submitted to the Coptic Museum in Cairo (Egypt), according to Ekho Moskvy.
