Japanese set Guinness record, considering the number of "pi"

59-year-old Japanese Akira Haraguchi broke the Guinness record, the memory counting the value of pi to 83 thousand decimal places.

Work from the city Mobara started counting before midday today and finished in the early morning. Thus, he improved his own record, which established in September last year. Then he stopped, count to 54 thousand characters.

Then stop by because he had that room in which he was shut for the night. This time was chosen as the hall where Haraguchi could stay indefinitely. Greek letter "pi" in mathematics are the numbers equal to the ratio of the circumference to the length of its diameter, it is expressed by an infinite decimal, reports RSN.
