Scientists have figured out how to extend the life of 10 years

Even small efforts at maintaining a healthy lifestyle can yield positive results, including an increase in human longevity.

This is the conclusion, scientists from the British University of Cambridge, who completed the study the influence of lifestyle on mortality. In the experiment involved 25,000 people aged 49 to 79 years.

According to the findings of scientists, each person is able to extend the duration of three years of his life, if it is a day to eat an apple. They also found that each of us is capable in carrying out relatively simple recommendations to add ten years healthy and fulfilling active work life.

"Even a little extra physical activity have a major positive impact on the body, reducing mortality by 15-20%," says one of the leaders of research Kai Tee Khav.

Yet the most effective way is to stop smoking. In this case, the average person increases life expectancy by five years, say British scientists, according to ITAR-TASS.
