Georgians and Abkhazians are reconciled in Geneva

Opened today in Geneva talks on settling the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict. The Georgian side is led by Minister of Georgia for Conflict Settlement Giorgi Khaindrava, the Abkhaz - the Foreign Minister of breakaway Abkhazia, Sergei Shamba.

February 2-3, the sides will discuss a draft document on non-fire and the return of Georgian refugees to the Gali district of Abkhazia.

In addition, Khaindrava intends to raise the issue of heavy criminal situation in the Gali district of Abkhazia and numerous violations of human rights in the zone of military conflict, Novosti-Georgia.
