He died one of the most famous Polish

In Warsaw at the age of 74 years died a well-known journalist and writer Ryszard Kapushinsky. The fame brought him a series of books and reports of wars, coups and revolutions in Africa and the Middle East.

Among the most famous of his works "Another Day of Life" - about the last days of Portuguese colonial rule in Angola, "Shah shah" - the abdication and flight of the Shah of Iran, "Emperor" - the fall of the monarchy in Ethiopia.

In the preface to the American edition of one of his books says that he witnessed 27 coups and revolutions, was friends with such personalities as the Che Guevara, and four had been sentenced to death. On the death of the writer reported the Polish news agency PAP, where Kapushinsky worked for more than 20 years.
