Recording a drunken Lennon sold for $ 30 thousand

A tape recording of the song, performed by a drunken John Lennon, was sold at auction in Los Angeles for $ 30 thousand record lasting about six minutes was made in 1973. As stated by the auction house Bonhams, organized the auction, Lennon sings a song by Lloyd Price's "Just because" a state of intoxication.

In the recording, which has never performed publicly, the ex-Beatle improvises by inserting the lyrics line by itself. Among them there are, for example, the following words: "A little cocaine is what we need."
The name of the new record holder is unknown, reports BBC.
