Russian stars played football in England

September 12, 2007 in London at Battersea Park stadium held a unique charity football match "Give Life" between teams of Russian and British stars. The funds collected are for children with cancer. The match was initiated by the founders of the Fund, popular actress Chulpan Khamatova and Dina Korzun.

According to eyewitnesses, the match was a friendly atmosphere, but it was tense. Account opened the Russian star - the first goal of the match scored by Olympic champion figure skater Ilya Averbukh. However, shortly before the end of the match the English settle the score. After that followed a series of penalties, in which the Russian star players lost 4:5.
