September 27 2007

Scientists argue that men with low tone of voice, tend to have more children than men with high voices. This conclusion is based on studies of Hadza tribe in Tanzania.

The experts found that "Baritone" on average two children more than the "tenors".

In an article published in the journal Biology Letters, the scientists suggest that their findings correspond to the popular belief that women prefer men with low voice.

According to scientists, the deep voice suggests that the body of a man much testosterone, then he is a good hunter and a getter. Another explanation: men with deep voice puberty sooner, therefore, they have more time for larger offspring. Perhaps, in prehistoric times, voices of men and women were similar, however, resulted in the evolution of voice quality in men was lower, reports BBC.
