Vladivostok has opened a symposium on nanotechnology

Participants and guests of the International Symposium "Nanostructures: Physics and Technology", which started in Vladivostok, considering market prospects of nanotechnology in the Far East of the country. The forum involves academics, Nobel Prize winner and even the Vice-President of RAS.

In the 16 th International Symposium on the account "Nanostructures: Physics and Technology" are the Nobel and Lenin Prizes, Academician Jaures Alferov, Nobel Laureate Professor Leo Esaki (Japan). In addition, participate in the forum, Vice-President of RAS, academician Alexander Aseev, member of Academy of Sciences and Corresponding Members of RAS, leading the young Russian scientists, graduate students, as well as the well-known foreign scientists from countries in the Asia-Pacific, Europe, Asia and the USA.

"This primarily concerns that the region has tremendous potential in this area and is quite able to become a center of nanotechnology in the Asia-Pacific region. The various institutes of the Far Eastern Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences in recent years, intensive development nanoissledovaniya in various fields - from geology and mineralogy to oceanography, has its own unique design "- said the organizers of the symposium, as reported by RIA Novosti.
