German scientists have suggested that vaccines made with electric typewriters for tattoos are much more effective than vaccine produced by conventional syringes, reports BBC.
The researchers conducted a series of experiments in which vaccines were administered guinea mice. For this purpose a vibrating needle - are exactly the same device is used in many salons for tattoos.
It turned out that after the vaccination done so in the animal's body produces 16 times more antibodies than by intramuscular injection.
According to one of the authors of the study by Martin Mueller, this effect may be explained by the fact that the vaccine's immune system reacts to pain, caused by machine for tattoos.
Scientists say that the new method of vaccination, obviously, will not be used in conventional hospitals and clinics because the procedure is too painful for the child, who does most of the vaccinations. However, needles for tattoos may well be used for animal vaccination, wrote Newsinfo.
