"Fritz" put in place Kramnik Kasparov

Last night in Bonn ended multi-day chess match between world champion Russian Vladimir Kramnik and the computer program Deep Fritz. Machine won rights.

According to expert estimates, the maximum of what man can do in the match with a program of this level - a play on an equal footing.

Four parties Kramnik held a draw. Once GM has lost because of some annoying bugs, well, and on Tuesday the computer whites just won the world champion.

Fritz "deliberately grouped his heavy pieces on the kingside, while Kramnik on the opposite edge of the board planned to hold counterplay. Suddenly blacks (who plays a man), there were serious problems: a computer quietly won a pawn and exchanging queens, having to actually win the endgame. The machine is easily brought the party to victory: for almost 15 moves computer gradually "squeezed" person.

As a result, the champion of the world, realizing that to retain without material losses, the checkpoint pawn vertically "and" not be admitted defeat. The total score of the match was 4:2 in favor of "Deep Fritz".

During testing of the new machine Kramnik gets a fee of 500,000 euros, "CNN".
