According to Vice-Governor, first of all automobile production will be launched in October 2008. At the same time, he noted that plant capacity will be increased as demand growth.

Currently, he said, demand for cars of Nissan in Russia is estimated at 40 thousand cars per year.

M. Oseyevsky also reported that the estimated number of workers at the plant will be 750 people. He noted that Nissan will produce a few models, adapted to the Russian market. "

In addition, the vice-governor said that in addition to customs benefits to be provided by the investment agreement with the Ministry of Economic Development, St. Petersburg will provide "Nissan" their tax benefits, provided the city law. According to him, that benefits will affect income taxes and property taxes.
