A resident of the Indian city of Mathura, Ashish Sharma set a world record for watching non-stop 48 movies total length of 120 hours. The previous record belonged to a German Claudia Wafra, who watched movies for 117 hours. Ashish sat before the screen in a 8.11 local time (9.38 GMT) on June 11 and finished the show at 20.12 local time (18.42 GMT) on June 16. Edition of "Guinness World Records" has documented its achievements and plans to formally called Sharma, a world champion in a month after the resolution of procedural issues.
