In Samara, opens film festival dedicated to children

April 15 in Samara, in the Cinema House held a press conference on the XIII International Festival of Cinema - children ".

"Cinema for Kids!" - An annual festival that represents the slice of the best documentaries and animated films made in Russia and abroad. The festival lasts five days, from 18 to 22 April. Organizers: Samara Branch of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, the studio of the Volga-Film and SUE Oblkinoprokat with the support of the Federal Agency for Culture and Cinematography, and the Ministry of Culture and Youth Policy of the Samara region. We add that the regional Ministry of Culture has allocated 1 million rubles festival and next year plans to increase funding.

The festival has traditional film program: "Russian premiere," The international program, "the glory of the motherland", representing the best military-patriotic films and films about the history of Russia and "the way to the temple of our soul" with the films of the Orthodox subjects. In addition, this year there will be two new thematic film programs - Opera in Cinema ", in which children will show the best domestic films, operas and films about the masters of opera, and" Memories "- the best children's movie, filmed in Soviet times. Particular attention is paid to the organizers of the program of documentary films. The festival screenings will take place in addition to IV All-Russian Conference "Step Forward: cinema - culture - education, on opportunities and future use of cinema in the educational process.

Grand opening of the festival "Cinema - the children will be held April 18 at the Palace of culture of railwaymen. Among the invited guests of the first secretary of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia Klim Lavrent'ev, People's Artist of the RSFSR Lydia Fedoseyeva-Shukshina, singer, winner of Grand Prix VI International Elena Obraztsova Competition Julia Lezhneva, movie director Rezo Chkheidze, Vladimir Makeranets, Boris Airapetian, Joao Cristovao (Portugal) others.
