Lungin will shoot a film about Ivan the Terrible

Director Pavel Lungin started shooting a new film, working title is "Ivan the Terrible and Metropolitan Philip."

The idea of making a film about the conflict of the first Russian tsar and the Metropolitan came to Lungin during semok movie "The Island". At some point rezhisser saw aktere Mamonova image of Ivan the Terrible. Then the idea of a new filmstrip, where necessary Mamonov will play the role of the king, reports RIA Oreanda.
