Nabokov's last novel, could become the second "Lolita"

The last novel by Vladimir Nabokov - "Original of Laura" - was never published. The author did not have time to finish it before his death and demanded to burn the manuscript. But the heir to the writer kept the text and the following year the book will be released.

The novel, according to Dmitry Nabokov, "is incredibly unique," "exciting, though not always pleasant," "sometimes shocking." Linguists have long speculated that the latest creation of the great writer much more candidly than glorified his "Lolita."

The protagonist of "Original of Laura" - an ugly, suffering full scholar Philip Wilde - thinking about suicide, suffering from the infidelity of his wife Flora, prone to "wild debauchery." He chose her because she reminded him of the old love - Laura.

Manuscript of "Original of Laura" - cards for 150 words each - one third of the century were kept in a Swiss bank, wrote , "Pravda.Ru" .
