The Netherlands has set a record for breastfeeding

80 young mothers on Sunday in the Netherlands have set the original record, both in the same room fed breastfeed their children, this event marked the beginning of World breastfeeding week, news agency ANP.

Record-breaking event was held in the premises of primary school the Dutch city of Amersfoort.

According to the agency, world breastfeeding week is held in the Netherlands in order to raise the issue of the importance of breast milk for infants and to support breastfeeding women.

"Our action we wanted to show that there is nothing abnormal in the fact that a woman breastfeeding her child in a public place, - said one of the organizers of the simultaneous feeding Aheyt Hendricks (Ageeth Hendriks). - Often the mother who gives her child the breast in public place, look askance, especially if it is more than six months old, and this despite the fact that the World Health Organization recommends that infants breastfed for at least two years of age. "

The previous record of simultaneous breast-feeding has been established in the Netherlands last year, when the event was attended by 61 women.
