Dan Brown was acquitted in a British court

March 28 2007
17:37

The British Court of Appeal rejected the claim of two authors, who argue that the novelist Dan Brown has used their ideas in his book "The Da Vinci Code."

Michael Beydzhent and Richard Ley, the authors of "Holy Blood and Grail," now have to pay six million dollars of legal costs following the rejection of the claim against the publisher Random House Inc.

Both books are based on the theory that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married and had children, and their descendants have survived to this day.

Most of the historical research for the book Brown made his wife, but the writer did not want her to be played in court, defending his wife from public attacks. Tells MIGnews.com.
