The Japanese have invented a means to fight the video pirates

September 18 2009

Illegal copying of films in cinemas may soon cease to be profitable, just because it would be impossible in principle. Japanese experts have invented clever device that is able to spoil video at a distance.

Its secret is that it detects no visible sight infrared beam and immediately comes into effect. Anti-piracy device simply distorts the image and the audience in the hall is absolutely nothing not to notice, writes Izvestia.

As promised the developers, the device will be available at the price of any theater, and a mass market it goes on for three years. So perhaps soon, Japanese pirates, and violators from other countries will have to find another job.
