Storming of the Bastille will be without fireworks?

France celebrates its main national holiday. 217 years ago, July 14, 1789, Parisians stormed the Bastille. The celebration traditionally started at the traffic interchange with the Column of the Bastille in the center - is all that remains of the prison, a symbol of the French monarchy.

For the majority of the French Bastille Day - a joyful celebration. Few people are sorry about the monarchy, the symbol of the collapse of which was the seizure of the prison, even though the events on July 14 resulted in a penalty legitimate King Louis XVI, civil war and the Jacobin dictatorship.
