On Lake Baikal fell off a cliff an elderly German tourist

On the lake in an accident killed a tourist from Germany. The tragedy occurred at the weekend on Olkhon.

As reported by the regional emergency department, a group of 20 German tourists in a guided tour of the car committed in the picturesque surroundings of Lake Baikal. During a stop at Cape Khoboy one of the travelers, 58-year-old man, according to his companions, approached the edge of the cliff and fell down from the 40-meter height.

Among the tourists was a professional firefighter, who went down to the fallen compatriot, but he was already dead. The detailed circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
