In one of the caves of central Israel found animals unknown to science. They had been without sunlight for millions of years.
Unknown to scientists animals were discovered in a cave Ayalon, located near the town of Ramle. It turned out that, far from the eyes of eight species of invertebrates inhabit. Among the animals found - 4 types of cancers, wingless insects and scorpion-like creature on a scorpion. The length of the largest of the found animal reaches 5 centimeters.
According to scientists from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, two species of crayfish found exactly the first time. Most likely, the first found and the remaining six species, according to ISRAland.
Ayalon Cave, where they found previously unknown animals, is located at a depth of 100 meters, its length - 2,5 km. Access for tourists it is closed.
