Finnish premium Emma-Galla: Nightwish won two major awards

In Helsinki, the ceremony was held Music Awards Emma-Galla, an analogue of the Finnish Grammy Awards.

Symphonic metallers Nightwish have received two major awards: the group was named "Best team in Finland, and her album, Highest Hopes - The Best Of Nightwish recognized as the most successful drive of the year.

Highest Hopes - The Best Of Nightwish - Collection favorite Nightwish - was released in September 2005 , and immediately received the status of "platinum in Finland. At the end of the year its circulation was 65,000 copies.

The album Highest Hopes is a cover version of the same name lyrics Pink Floyd, it was she who was the last of the group, recorded with the participation of vocalist Tarja Turunen, who left the group in October 2005.

Now band recorded material for a new album and look for the replacement of ex-vocalist.

In early June this year, will be released CD / DVD set called Nightwish End of an Era, which will be the outcome for the group and will summarize a line under the joint creative team in the old format.

The publication will also include a record of the last concert with Tarja on 21 October last year in Helsinki.
