Reggae festival in honor of Bob Marley

In 1966, Perry has created almost from scratch his own label called «the Upsetters». With the arsenal of a recorder, mixer and tape, I have to create a brilliant dub-reggae. He first began experimenting with a drum machine and a phaser.

In 1977, Lee resumed his work with Bob Marley. He also released the very first 12-inch reggae single «History» Carlton Jackson. Perry has worked on other musical projects: Linda McCartney (Linda McCartney), Robert Palmer (Robert Palmer), John Martin (John Martyn) and The Clash.

In the late 70's with Perry because of personal conflict refused to cooperate «Island Records», and in 1978 suddenly burned down his own studio.

In 2003, already 70-year-old Perry released his album «Jamaican ET», which won Grammy. In this disc Perry combines simple but charming melody with lyrics about today's global problems. So this Thursday, February 8, Perry promises to pan the audience at Moscow's "B1".
