Due to anomalous heat in the Moscow River bred freshwater jellyfish Kraspedakusta. The journalists told Professor of Invertebrate Zoology, Biological Faculty of Moscow State University Nikolai Marfenin.

"This phenomenon is quite normal to us ... to the department they sometimes bring. This species is a benthic polyp stage, in which it can exist in many years, without going into meduzoidnuyu stage. So, for decades, these jellyfish does not appear" - said the scientist.
According to him, the jellyfish are fairly heat-loving and never get turned into the cold waters. "Their appearance is undoubtedly due to the increase in water temperature," - said the professor, adding that at this point in the Moscow River found seven of jellyfish with a diameter of about two centimeters.
